“Rugby Sevens is now recognised as an Olympic sport and will make its debut at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. Attending a trial day with Maroubra Women’s is the first step in the process of identifying athletes who display the potential to represent our women’s team in 7’s competition in NSW and across the country. You don't need to have a background in rugby to attend our trial day. Whatever your sport, come and try out for this exciting, fast-paced game.
Maroubra Women’s are conducting trials for girls aged 16-30 years and are being held at Nagle Park in Maroubra. The time and day for this trial will be posted on our page. They will run for one and a half hours, including registration. Our accredited coaches will give you an introduction to Sevens Rugby and an overview of our women’s pathway 7’s Program.
